What Your Takedown Notice Must Include to help us process your request quickly, your notice should contain the following:

  1. Your full name, address, email address, and phone number.
  2. A clear description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  3. The specific URL(s) or exact location of the infringing ad/content on our platform.
  4. Proof that you are the copyright owner or an authorized representative (e.g., registration certificate or other evidence).
  5. A statement declaring that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate.
  7. Your physical or electronic signature.

Our Response Process

  • We will review valid notices promptly.
  • Upon receipt of a complete and valid takedown notice, we will strictly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content without delay, within 7 days.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to notify the user who posted the content.
  • The platform acts as a neutral advertising space and is not responsible for user-posted content.

Important: If we do not respond or act on your valid notice within the above timeframe, you may proceed with appropriate legal actions under Indian law.


Counter-Notice by Content Owner


If your content was removed and you believe it was done in error, you may submit a counter-notice with supporting details. We will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the content after following due process.


Repeat Infringers

  • We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
  • This policy is governed by the laws of India. We recommend consulting a legal professional before submitting any notice.

  • Proof of your ownership or authorization
  • A good faith statement that the use is unauthorized
  • A declaration that the information is accurate, under penalty of perjury
  • Your signature (electronic or physical)

Our Takedown Process

  • We will review complete and valid notices promptly.
  • Upon receipt of a valid takedown request, we will remove or disable access to the reported content within 7 days.
  • We may notify the user who posted the content.

Note: This platform maintains safe harbour protection under applicable law by responding to valid notices. We do not review or monitor content proactively.


Counter-Notice Procedure


If your content has been removed due to a takedown notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a Counter-Notice to the same email (Support@ClassiAds.in).


A valid Counter-Notice must include:

  • Your contact details
  • The specific URL(s) that was removed
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  • Consent to court jurisdiction and acceptance of service of process
  • Your signature

Upon receiving a valid Counter-Notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. We may restore the content after 10 business days unless we receive notice that legal proceedings have been initiated.


Repeat Infringers

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
  • This policy does not create any additional legal obligations beyond those required by law. For legal advice, please consult a qualified attorney.
